Jennifer Lawrence Finds Her Parisian Flair On The Dior Front Row

Jennifer Lawrence is in Paris for her seasonal appearance at the Dior show. The actor took her front row seat to watch the spring/summer 2020 show play out in a botanical setting rich with trees, rather than the brand’s signature blooms, within the Longchamp racecourse. Joining her to take in creative director Maria Grazia Chiuri’s latest designs – which were inspired by Christian Dior’s younger sister, Catherine, who was a keen gardener – were fellow brand ambassadors Jorja Smith and Karlie Kloss.

Rather than nodding to floral references of this season and those rooted in the house’s history, Lawrence chose an all-back look that was emblematic of Chiuri’s recent design direction. The boxy leather jacket, cropped top and pleated skirt chimed with the designer’s focus on “corporatism, wearability and functionality” this season. For character, the actor added four contrasting necklaces and a pair of hoop earrings baring trinkets. Large sunglasses defied the grey clouds threatening rain.
