Amenhotep II was the son of king Thutmose III, father of king Thutmose IV and grandfather of Amenhotep III. Amenhotep II was the 7th king of Egypt’s 18th Dynasty (c. 1427–1401 B.C. or c. 1427–1397 B.C.).
